JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced accountant who has working experience with a UK based company. As an accountant, you will perform a variety of professional level accounting duties involved in preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling complex financial transactions, Budgeting, Reconciliation, Cash Flow management, statements, records, and reports; maintains the accuracy of the Company’s ledgers and subsidiary financial systems; assists in the preparation of assigned budgets, annual audit, and year end closing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
- Preparing of financial statements & Bookkeeping on QuickBooks & Sage.
- Payroll Management.
- Withholding Tax Filling & Value Added Tax (VAT).
- Invoice & Billing, Financial Statements and Analysis.
- Bank Reconciliations, Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Detailed reconciliation of credit and cash payments, driver payments and bookings.
- Management accounts
- Cash flow Management
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Required skills/qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accountant with UK based companies/projects.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, especially SAGE, QuickBooks, & MS Office.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 1 year of work experience.
- Member of ACCA /CA/ICMA or other accountancy body.
